FACULTY

The school has a faculty of over well-qualified, experienced and dedicated teachers who are ready to face the challenges of the new millennium. In keeping with the school’s mission of preparing students to be global citizens, teachers are actively encouraged to attend educational workshops, refresher courses and seminars to continually update their knowledge and methods of instruction.
Our Management aims for every faculty member to have a holistic approach to every student’s education.

This is the approach we wish every faculty member to take –

She will have to learn

That all people are not just,
All people are not true,
But teach her also that For every scoundrel there is a hero;
That for every selfish Politician,
There is a dedicated Leader…
Teach her that for every enemy there is a friend.
It will take time, I know;
But teach her if you can,
That a rupee earned is of far more value that five found…
Teach her to learn to lose…
And also to enjoy winning.

Steer her away from envy,

If you can,
Teach her the secret of Quiet laughter.

Let her learn early that

The bullies are the easiest to beat…
Teach her, if you can,
The wonder of books…
But also give her quiet time
To ponder the eternal mystery of birds in the sky,
Bees in the sun,
And the flowers on the green hillside

In school teach her

It is far honorable to fail
Than to cheat…
Teach her to have faith
In her own ideas,
Even if everyone tells her
They are wrong…
Teach her to be gentle
With gentle people,
And tough with the tough.

Try to give my child

The strength not to follow the crowd
When everyone is doing so…
Teach her to listen to all humans…
But teach her also to filter
All she hears on a screen of truth,
And take only the good
That comes through.

Teach her if you can,

How to laugh when she is sad….
Teach her there is no shame in tears,
Teach her to scoff at cynics
And to beware of too much sweetness…
Teach her to sell her learning
And knowledge to the highest bidders,
But never to put a price tag
On her heart and soul.

Teach her to close her ears

To a shouting mob
And to stand and fight
If she thinks she is right.
Treat her gently,
But do not cuddle her,
Because only the test
Of fire makes fine steel.

Let her have the courage

To be impatient…
Let her have the patience to be brave.
Teach her always
To have sublime faith in herself,
Because then she will have
Sublime faith in mankind.
– Abraham Lincoln who wrote this letter to his child’s teacher.

ABOUT THE SCHOOL

The best judge of whether or not a country is going to develop is how it treats its women. If it’s educating its girls, if women have equal rights, that country is going to move forward. But if women are oppressed and abused and illiterate, then they’re going to fall behind.
